As a trusted HR / Employment Law support provider to employers of all shapes and sizes, EML are hell-bent on cutting through the fluff, jargon and legalese that some of our peers hide behind and get beyond the nicey-nicey approach of your average HR pro.
As for me, I'm frighteningly experienced (have I really been doing it this long?!) and reassuringly qualified (if the letters CIPD are worth a jot to you!) and there's not much I haven't seen and done on the HR front - from providing nuts 'n bolts advice through to representing in tribunal.
At EML, we don't see it as our place to tell businesses what they can and can't do as far as their own people are concerned. If getting shot of someone in double-quick time is in their best interests, we'll get them there with minimum fuss and as safely as we can. If a disciplinary issue is being tossed around like a hot potato internally, we'll take it on and investigate or hear it. If a long-term sickness situation has been left to drift, we'll get it back on track and see it through to its conclusion. If a restructure involves job losses, we'll manage the redundancy process.
But it's not all doom and gloom! We love nothing more than mentoring the people we work with and seeing clients grow and prosper. After all, success in business is invariably down to the people you employ...and the effective development and management of those people is what EML is all about!
