My style is all about getting the best from whoever I work with, encouraging others to find answers using their strengths, rather than providing answers for them.  When leading projects I work with teams to improve their skills and understanding, rather than simply telling, fixing or changing things myself.
Everyone wants to shine at work, I help people find their spark and perform at their best.
I also believe that work should be fun, and I am always told that I bring plenty of that!

Expertise


My experience...
I have been working at Board level for the past 12 years, and have a depth of skills gained within the fashion clothing industry. I am analytical, financially savvy, detail, process and cost orientated, but with the unusual combination of strong people skills and high level of empathy and emotional intelligence.  I have concept to delivery range planning, supply chain and operational expertise, excellent team building and coaching skills, problem solving, change management and operational delivery.
I lead a Continuous Improvement Program which spanned across the entire business, using key Appreciative Inquiry techniques, the project focused on predominantly process improvements, but also information flow and communication including business KPIs. Responsible for all process aspects of systems implementations.

Prior to that my career has predominantly been in Buying and Merchandising roles at senior levels.
