I act for high-net-worth individuals, corporates, insurers, and financial institutions across the UK and key offshore and cross-border jurisdictions, often involving parallel proceedings, urgent interim relief, or enforcement risk.
Alongside fee-earning practice, I hold senior leadership and governance roles, including Director and Compliance Officer positions, with responsibility for litigation oversight, client service strategy, and training. This informs a pragmatic, commercially aligned approach to dispute management and client care.
My core practice areas include:
- Commercial litigation and arbitration: high-value contractual, shareholder, fraud, and cross-border enforcement and asset-tracing matters, including urgent injunction strategy.
- Reputation-critical disputes and crisis response: rapid injunctive relief (confidentiality, anonymity and reporting restrictions where available), coordinated litigation strategy with communications advisers, and tight control of public narratives for founders, executives and investors across jurisdictions.
- Insurance and reinsurance: (un)insured trade losses, coverage disputes, regulatory and conduct issues, and internationally seated arbitrations.
- Insolvency and restructuring disputes: contested applications, recovery strategy, and cross-border coordination.
My background includes partner-level leadership of multi-jurisdictional disputes teams and substantial arbitration experience (including ICC, LCIA, and DIFC-seated proceedings), with claims extending into the hundreds of millions.
