Georgena has extensive experience in contentious matters, which consists of managing Employment Tribunal cases and conducting the Tribunal advocacy on a range of employment issues. Georgena has particular expertise dealing with discrimination cases and has been involved with a number of high profile multi-party discrimination cases.
Georgena also has in-depth experience of non-contentious matters and regularly advises clients on a range of employment issues, which reflect the legal and commercial considerations. She is also adept at advising and negotiating severance agreements and achieving favourable settlements for her clients, drafting service agreements, consultancy agreements and employment contracts for senior and junior employees.
She also reviews and drafts Employee/Staff handbooks for a range of businesses. Georgena also undertakes corporate support for various Plcs advising on the TUPE implications regarding acquisitions, mergers and pre-pack deals.
Georgena regularly conducts seminars for clients on various employment matters and provides training to HR Managers, Senior Managers and CEOs/Managing Directors.
She is also a regular contributor of legal updates for clients and frequently writes articles for the local press and business magazines.
