Summary
Alpa Shingadia is a Hampshire based businesswoman. Having worked her way up in sales and marketing working in various software companies. When the dotcom bubble burst in the early 2000’s she set up on her own. With a phone and a Yellow Pages, she went on to build an outsourcing sales and marketing business from her home. This business eventually grew went on to employ 8 full time staff.
She is a seasoned businesswoman, her first business folded during the credit crunch, but taking what she learnt from that, she went on to build her second business, which she successfully exited from in 2013. Since that exit, she works as a business growth advisor. Being best placed to help other business owners to avoid some of the mistakes she made and help them to realise their own business goals.
Outside of work, Alpa is a keen cook, and loves to lose herself in a great book.

Alongside her paid work Alpa is involved in two charities the Joshua Lynagh Foundation, which raises money for equipment to help NHS hospitals treat babies with heart conditions and the Fredericks Foundation which lends money to anyone who has a viable business proposition, but cannot obtain mainstream finance.
