Looking to start or grow your family?
- Did you know most Protection providers offer 'Pregnancy and Early Childhood Cover' (PEC) when you need it most. PEC is available with Children's Cover and Children's Enhanced Cover and includes a range of features and benefits to give you peace of mind.
- PEC offers coverage for an additional 10 full-payment conditions, including Down's Syndrome, Cystic Fibrosis, and Spina Bifida. Plus, most providers will pay out if your child is diagnosed with one of four birth defects, such as cleft palate or club foot.
- If you or your partner suffers from one of six specified complications of pregnancy, including placental abruption and Eclampsia, most providers will also pay out. And if your child needs to stay in the hospital following a premature birth, the Children's Premature Birth Hospital Stay Benefit can help by paying £50 per night from the 7th night.
- Finally, if the unthinkable happens and your child passes away from the 24th week of pregnancy, most providers will pay out with our Children's Enhanced Death Benefit.
