Accepting that this thought may bring upon us the wrath of many, the question is asked.......
Is there just too much time spent in self awareness, self discovery, self fulfilment, self healing, self as many things as one can decide needs fixing about oneself?
Of course in such areas as self esteem (we do that!) there is help to be given, but so much focus on self simply highlights all the negatives that self inflicts upon itself! It's a fascination with looking inward, whereas what is most important is out there!
Looking in the direction that nature placed our eyes (outward) seems to be where we should be aligning our 'self'.
Get the best from yourself of course (that's what we do!), but do it whilst moving in a forward direction, not whilst shrinking into oneself.
As already said, possibly controversial, but hopefully at least something that will motivate a response, be it positive or negative, because from the thoughts of others we learn.
A lifetime in Financial Services as participant and Trainer/Coach led eventually to the creation of 'The Coachmen'.
