Stockport-based agency Trust Brand Communications has been named Business of the Year (turnover under £1m) at the 2015 Stockport Business Awards.
The award was presented by Andrew Curwen, Partner & Head of Corporate & Commercial Law for category sponsors Gorvins at a high profile ceremony at Stockport Town Hall.
The branding and digital agency, which recently added global brand Pioneer DJ to its client list, has delivered a tremendous year of growth, recording significant improvements in turnover and profit, with 80% of new business coming from successful referrals.
Based near Stockport’s iconic pyramid Trust offers branding, web design, photography and print services to a range of businesses in fashion, retail, not for profit and professional sectors.
The business was started in 2011 and has ambitious plans for the next few years aiming to reach a £500k turnover by 2016.
Stuart Bradley, Managing Director of Trust, said that the team were overwhelmed with the win, against more established competition.
He said: “We’re still a young business and we’ve grown organically without any outside funding support, so we are especially proud to pick up the award.
“It recognises the hard work that everyone has put into Trust and our clients’ faith in us, especially those who work with us in Stockport. It’s a great place to do business and we look forward to doing more to keep the town in the spotlight.”
This was the fourth year for the Stockport Business Awards scheme which was set up to highlight business excellence in the region. Over 370 people attended the event and raised £5,500 for St Ann’s Hospice.
