R&D Tax Relief - March 2019 claims are finally being paid out
If you submitted your R&D Tax Relief claim at the end of March 2019 and you've been waiting on an R&D Tax Credit payment, the good news is if you haven't yet received it, you should have it fairly shortly. HMRC get overrun with claims between December and March as these are the most popular year ends for limited companies. The processing times have extended from 4-6 weeks to over 13 weeks, last year the waiting time was perhaps only a week less. There are ways to mitigate this and we are always happy to work with clients who want to submit early.
