The two elements of job interviews.
Interviews these days have two elements to them: interviewers are looking at both aptitudes and attitudes and they will often do so in separate interviews.
Usually the first interview is about defining a shortlist of candidates who can "do the job" and the second interview finds the ones who are most likely "to fit in".
Sometimes the interviews are in the other order or occasionally mixed, but either way, it is not sufficient these days solely to be "job competent", you also need to master the subtle art of 'reading' your interviewer whilst illustrating your soft skills when you answer their questions.
