Think about what drives you.

The interaction between our thoughts and our deeds is cyclical: our thoughts lead us to do things and what we do makes us think about what we did.

Was it team oriented, was it profitable, did it put me in charge, did I feel fulfilled? Define what drives your career and then rate your current and two of your previous roles against your top three drivers.

The 9 drivers that we usually recognise are: Affiliation; Autonomy; Creativity; Expertise; Materialism; Meaning; Power; Security; Status. If your ratings are poor, perhaps it's time for a change! #proteuscareermanagement
