• Is it worth the effort?

Philip Stanhope, 4th Earl of Chesterfield said, "Whatever is worth doing at all, is worth doing well."

But if you are not able to do it well then surely, if it's worth doing, then it's worth doing poorly at first, because it is only through practice and practising that we improve - and then eventually we will be able to "do it well".

Here I also have to disagree with Yoda when he says, "There is no try only do."  The two quotes in combination lead most people to procrastinate or not to have a go at all.

Ditch the quotes and have a go - only through activity do we improve!
