Think of your career as an adventure

Your career, indeed your life, is not a dress rehearsal - this is it!

There is of course a risk involved in any foray out of your comfort zone, but staying in it gives rise to an even greater risk: the risk that the 'comfort' zone becomes a 'put up with it' zone in a dull life dominated by the Monday morning blues.

If you are dissatisfied with your career, it's time to do something about it - at the very least it's time to find a new working environment - in pastures new.

Don't be foolhardy, acting on a whim and don't be a stick-in-the-mud either. Plan your future: choose the exciting middle road called 'being adventurous'!
