Jelena has accumulated a wealth of experience in the field of international recruitment and education. Jelena has helped acquire top talent for clients such as Bank of England, Deutsche Bank, BskyB, CERN, Amadeus, and HP. With over 20 years in related fields, she has sharpened her skills to a high calibre and is able to identify talented students and graduates. She started her corporate career in Japan where she worked for 4 years and spent another 6 years in London managing the Japanese subsidiary. She holds 2 Bachelor degrees -in Japanese language and literature and English language and literature.
As a head of the Candidate Selection team in a fast growing business unit within Quacquarelli Symonds, she liaised with top business schools, building and coaching full teams from scratch. Her extensive involvement in the recruitment process has allowed her to combine skilled analysis and psychological assessment to identify clients’ goals and remove any obstacles blocking their path to success. Jelena has also worked at University of London Career Service as Head of Employer Liaison.
Travelling and working all around the world, Jelena has also developed global experience in Asian, European, African, and Russian markets. She speaks 4 languages. Her understanding of cross-cultural differences and skills coaching allow her to identify key strengths and difficulties in candidates of any background.
