We think in pictures. Due to this neuro imaging the use of metaphors is a powerful tool in communication. As a coach helping professionals to Overcome Overwhelm, I use the metaphor of walking down a busy pedestrianised street. You and I are walking in the middle of the street, on either side are people, events and places that represent the high points in your life. Your Wins, the Joy, the Connection- that brings you Purpose, Clarity and Confidence. When you get to a certain point the landscape changes towards events not yet realised. What's going to line the streets now…. What's next ?
