Some of us have been out of the workplace for so long that working remotely or being on furlough has become our norm. Home has become even more of our safe place to be. We have created a protective cocoon and it feels a little odd and maybe even scary to step out of it and go back to normal life, particularly when we are still in the middle of a pandemic. I know that I feel nervous of going back to normal.
