The Inner core of all Xanita boards is 100 % repulpable, ultra-light weight, significantly stronger than traditional honeycomb fibreboard and non-toxic. To put it simply Xanita board is a sustainable engineered closed-cell fibreboard made from fibres recovered from recycled used cardboard boxes. The core can be laminated with various surface finishes, including digital print ready kraft paper liners, or more rigid skins including MDF and birch plywood. Xanita board is considerably lighter than other fibreboards such as MDF. Xanita’s corrugated kraft core exhibits a much higher crush-strength than that of honeycomb fibreboard. It’s definitely NOT a honeycomb board. There are no toxic resins or adhesives used in the manufacturing process.
