With the possibility of a no-deal brexit shortly becoming a reality, HMRC has warned that the current agreements to avoid double payment of the equivalent of National Insurance contributions will be voided.
This outcome would mean that all UK employees who have staff seconded to work in EU member states will need to review their current arrangements.
HMRC is advising all businesses to make sure that they are prepared for all eventualities.
