If you don’t look after your career, your career won’t look after you.   On the other hand, if you take good care of your career, your career will produce the livelihood that will take good care of you and your loved ones.

These would seem to be self evident truths and yet after over 25 years of helping people with their careers Proteus still meets people every week who come to us after their career has started to go, or has already gone, totally pear shaped.

Other self evident truths are that prevention is always less painful than cure and that it’s a pretty good idea to have dug wells and built boats ready for unpredictable droughts and floods. Apply these principles to your career and give yourself some peace of mind: review where you are at and where you are aiming for in your career and be prepared for the likely unpredictable future!  #proteuscareermanagement
