Most of us are familiar with the idea of spending six months or so planning and deciding what kind of holiday we’d like for two weeks in the summer.
However, at the same time it never occurs to most of us to spend even two weeks planning and defining what kind of aims, focus, goals and aspirations we have for our lives and our careers in the future.
Yes, I agree, it’s very short-sighted, particularly since a successful career is what pays for the holidays.
Even if you do have an "Integrated Career and Life Plan" don't forget to update it and check your progress every month.
