Just recently my friends from Australia came on a visit to UK and I queried them on the distance of travel and they said it would be over 21 hours flight, but they had a stop over with the 2nd leg being about 14 hours.
And this got me thinking, has anyone ever gotten tired of the long flight and decided they had had enough the pilot should let them off right there -mid-air. ... ๐
Funny right ๐ ( I laugh again because I just imagined it!)
However, that is what most of us do with our dreams and goals.
At the instance of a challenge or indeed some challenges, we have had enough and choose to leave it and move on, the desire for commitment is gone.
Can we be in it for the ๐น๐ผ๐ป๐ด ๐ต๐ฎ๐๐น? ๐ค
By no means am I propagating that when you see it definitely not working, you should carry on regardless.
What I am saying is that, they same evaluation that comes into play when considering a long haul flight maybe helpful with our goals, visions and dreams. These include:
1. ๐๐น๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐: Just the same way you may want to go to Sidney and you do not buy a ticket to New Zealand, same way you need to get clarity on your vision, dreams and goals, What your are offering and its direction of growth.
2. ๐๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป: Actions brings more clarity. Also, how you have to buy the ticket to make the trip, so also you have to take action towards you dreams and goals. Make and execute a plan. It's Antoine de Saint-Exupรฉry who said"๐ ๐ด๐ผ๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ถ๐๐ต๐ผ๐๐ ๐ฎ ๐ฝ๐น๐ฎ๐ป ๐ถ๐ ๐ฎ ๐๐ถ๐๐ต".
3. ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐๐ผ๐ป(๐ฌ๐ผ๐๐ฟ ๐ช๐ต๐): The reason for wanting to make the trip must be important to you, a dream holiday, family you must visit etc. In the same way ๐ฎ๐ค๐ช๐ง ๐ฌ๐๐ฎ for wanting to achieve this dream or goal must also be important to you. The impact you want to make, the lives who to change, the legacy you want to leave.
