Referrals - Are you a Buyer or a Seller?

When it comes to your clients there are times that they will ask you if you know someone who does X. Often you will pass on details or you may not know anyone who is a good honest accountant or a whole of market mortgage broker. 

Have you ever thought of having a bartering arrangement? Have you ever thought of moneytising the arrangement? This can be highly rewarding for example brokers fees are based on what a bank pays not the client, so you don't end up with a complaining customer being charged high fees by an unscrupulous broker.
